So what's this whole comic thingie about?
PathDOG (as I like to abbreviate it, jeje) is a comic/zine/disaster still in production! It is, in essense, a modern tragicomedy that explores queerness, urban horror with shades of mystery, neurodivergency, misfortune and religion; all through the lens of a small cast of teenagers living in a fictional town that may or may not be just a slightly toned-down version of a certain municipality of Baja California, Mexico! Fun for the whole family!
[That last comment is a joke, due to multiple reasons this whole proyect is intended for ages 15 and up]
Meanwhile the site, comics, character information pages, and other stuff is still in its developing stage, I want to add some tidbits of interest related to this proyect :], hope you like undecipherable rants because boy oh boy you're about to get some :]]]
Interesting clarifications! Oh my~
- The comic's script is written completely in Spanish and translated to English, rather than just writing it in English; This is due to a need to keep the dialogue and jokes as true to the setting as possible.
- As I joked before, this work will contain unsettling imagery and gore at certain points, I will tag chapters appropiately and as needed, but discretion is advised nonetheless.
- Genres: Paranormal activity, horror, mystery, tragicomedy, school drama, supernatural, alternative history, body horror.
- This story is a huge passion proyect of mine, that's it, that's the fun fact
